4 Steps to Rapid Fundraising

Follow our step-by-step guide to set up, launch and grow your lottery fundraising.

STEP 1

Set-Up

Affiliate Agreement

Before a club can work with The Fundraising Club Lottery, it must first sign an Affiliate Agreement.

Marketing Guidelines

Club officials who promote the lottery must read and adhere to the marketing guidelines.

STEP 2

Goal

Your Cause & Goals

Confirm why your club is raising money, the fundraising target and deadline.

Think Big

See how much your club can raise by selling 10 to 1,000 tickets.

Cause Marketing

Learn why putting your club cause at the centre of your marketing is essential to maximising your fundraising.

STEP 3

Launch!

Lottery Page Live!

Your lottery page is now ready to go. Review your page, understand the player journey and make sure everything is set up before you begin promoting it.

First Ticket

Experience the process for yourself by purchasing your first ticket. This will help you understand the player journey and answer supporter questions with confidence.

Lottery Champion & Ambassadors

Identify your Lottery Champion and the people who can help spread the word. The most successful lotteries are supported by trusted people across the club.

Prepare Your Team

Equip your Champion and Ambassadors with the knowledge, confidence and tools they need to talk about the lottery and encourage sign-ups.

Promotional Launch Tools

Access your Lottery Promotion Pack, including a range of FREE resources and tools designed to help your lottery get off to the strongest possible start.

Warm Up Your Supporters

Build awareness before launch day. Create excitement, start conversations and let supporters know what the lottery will help fund so they're ready to get involved when the launch begins.

Sell your Next 10 Tickets

Work with your Lottery Champion and Ambassadors to identify the supporters most likely to join your lottery first. These early players will help build momentum, create confidence and provide a strong foundation for your wider launch.

Launch Event / Launch Push

Bring everything together with a coordinated launch activity. Use your Lottery Champion, Ambassadors and promotional tools to create momentum and maximise sign-ups across the club.

Extra Resources

Printed posters

When a club has 10 active players or more, playing The Fundraising Club Lottery, The Fundraising Club is happy to send FREE printed posters to your home address.

Tap-to-Join ‘Lottery Key Fobs’

Lottery Key Fobs are one of the easiest ways to help supporters join your lottery.

Each Lottery Key Fob is pre-programmed with your club's lottery sign-up page. When a supporter taps the key fob against their smartphone, they are taken directly to the sign-up page, making it quick and easy to purchase a ticket.

Mobile Sign-Up: The Do Your Bit App

The Do Your Bit App allows Lottery Champions, Lottery Ambassadors and supporters to access and sign up to your lottery from their mobile device.

Supporters can use the app to purchase tickets for themselves and can also use it to sign up friends, family members and other supporters to the lottery.
