Affilate Agreement

The Affiliate Agreement is an agreement between the club (the affiliate) and The Fundraising Club Lottery CIC. The Affiliate Agreement outlines how the club will promote the lottery, ensuring all promotions remain within the marketing guidelines detailed below.

One official acting on behalf of the club must sign the Agreement before the club can begin fundraising. 

The Affiliate Agreement can be terminated at any time. There is no cost to the club and no minimum terms.

Marketing Guidlines

Marketing lotteries is a highly regulated activity, governed by strict guidelines set out by the Gambling Commission.

To ensure compliance, it is essential that all clubs (Affiliates) market the lottery appropriately. Any breach of these regulations could put The Fundraising Club’s operating licence at risk, which would have serious consequences for all participating clubs relying on lottery income.

To support affiliates and safeguard compliance, The Fundraising Club has developed approved marketing materials to help you promote the lottery effectively and responsibly.

Financial Model

The Fundraising Club Lottery is different from most lotteries. We charge £10 per ticket per month and donate a Grant of £6 per ticket to the affiliated sports club. There are NO charges to the club and NO minimum ticket levels.

£10 Ticket

The £10 ticket price ensures that a club is fairly rewarded for its hard work promoting the lottery and provides enough income to achieve fundraising goals.

Many lotteries charge £1 or £2 per ticket. After costs, the total income generated by the Club will be very low, which demotivates club volunteers and stops the clubs from reaching their fundraising goals.

£6 Grant

Provided the Club has an active player, a Grant is paid to the Club within 4 weeks of a draw. The number of tickets sold does not matter. A club could sell one ticket and receive a £6 Grant, or 1,000 tickets and a £6,000 Grant.

£4 Costs

The lottery costs include prizes, IT services, payment processing, licenses, marketing and promotion. £4 from every ticket covers these costs.

Recurring Ticket

Every ticket purchase is a recurring monthly ticket. The player is automatically entered each month and charged £10 until they cancel the ticket.

Every ticket sold could generate £72 in club fundraising over 12 months (£ 6 x 12), creating a very effective, low-administrative source of club fundraising.

Long Term Goals

Our goal is to grow the Lottery to reach thousands of sports clubs, helping support millions of pounds of development Grants every month.

The more clubs that join the Lottery, the bigger the prizes we can offer and the greater the incentive for club members, creating larger Grants for affiliate clubs

Once you have signed their affiliate agreement, the Fundraising Club team will create your club lottery page and marketing assets.

This will take ~48 hours.
