Club Website Integration
How to integrate The Fundraising Club Lottery into your club website.
Lottery Page Live!
When the affiliate agreement is returned, a team member will create your club lottery affiliate page. This may take up to 48 hours.
Once completed, a link will be sent to your inbox.
If your club uses a Pitchero club website: the lottery page will be automatically integrated into your club website. A 'Lottery' link will appear in your main navigation.
If your club does not have a Pitchero club website: you should add links to your club website navigation using the URL provided in the email. Make sure the link is clearly visible on your website homepage and is part of the main site navigation.
First Ticket
To ensure your club understands the ticket-buying process, we recommend that you purchase the first ticket as soon as the page goes live.
You will receive an email confirmation containing your unique ticket number, along with a code for your Gourmet Society membership.
Experiencing the player journey first-hand will help you understand the communications supporters receive, answer questions with confidence and explain just how quick and straightforward the sign-up process is. It also gives you the opportunity to identify any questions supporters may have before you begin promoting the lottery more widely.
Plus, you could win up to £25,000!
Successful lotteries don't rely on one person trying to do everything.
We recommend identifying a Lottery Champion and at least 2-3 Lottery Ambassadors before launch.
Your Lottery Champion is responsible for keeping momentum going, while your Ambassadors help spread the word throughout the club.
Look for people who are passionate about the club, well-connected within your community and willing to support your lottery launch.
Remember: club lotteries grow through trusted people and conversations, not hard selling.
Action: Identify your Lottery Champion and at least 2-3 Lottery Ambassadors.
Now it's time to prepare your Lottery Champion and Ambassadors for launch.
Make sure they understand how the lottery works, what the club is raising money for and how supporters can get involved.
Engagement prompt – your free, practical sign-up tool
We recommend providing each person with an Engagement Prompt. This simple guide contains key information about the lottery, including the prizes, benefits, supporter FAQs and the messages they should focus on when speaking to potential players.
The Engagement Prompt helps Ambassadors feel more confident, keeps conversations consistent and provides a useful reference if they're asked a question they don't know the answer to.
Set sign-up goals
Finally, ask each Ambassador to set themselves a personal sign-up target. Small individual goals can quickly add up and help build momentum across the club. Your Ambassadors may even find themselves in a bit of friendly competition!
Action: Provide each Ambassador with an Engagement Prompt and agree a personal sign-up target.
As part of your lottery package, you'll receive access to a complete Lottery Promotion Pack designed to help your lottery get off to the strongest possible start.
Included at no additional cost, the pack contains a range of resources designed to help supporters join quickly and easily, while giving your Lottery Champion and Ambassadors the tools they need to promote the lottery with confidence.
These resources have been developed using what we've learned from successful lottery launches, and we know that clubs with the right tools in place from day one are more likely to achieve a successful launch.
Engagement Prompt – know your lottery
The Engagement Prompt is designed to help your Lottery Champion and Ambassadors talk about the lottery with confidence.
It contains key information about the lottery, including how it works, the prizes available and answers to common questions supporters may ask.
The Engagement Prompt also includes a QR Code linking directly to your lottery sign-up page, making it easy for supporters to join while you're talking to them.
Top Tip: Keep an Engagement Prompt with you whenever you're promoting the lottery. It will help keep conversations focused and ensure supporters receive consistent information.
Tap-to-Join ‘Lottery Key Fobs’
As part of your lottery package, you will receive three Lottery Key Fobs at no additional cost.
These key fobs are pre-programmed with your lottery sign-up page, so supporters can tap the key fob against their smartphone and be taken directly to your lottery page.
This makes the sign-up process quick and easy, especially at match days, training sessions, tournaments and club events.
Once you have them, we recommend giving them to your Lottery Champion and Ambassadors so they can carry them when promoting the lottery.
If you have not received your Lottery Key Fobs, please contact The Fundraising Club team to request them.
Action: Make sure you have requested and received your three Lottery Key Fobs before launch.

Instant sign-up QR Codes
QR Codes allow supporters to access your lottery sign-up page instantly using their smartphone camera.
You'll find QR Codes throughout your lottery materials, including on your Engagement Prompt, making it easy for supporters to access the sign-up page while you're talking to them about the lottery.
QR Codes can also be added to posters, newsletters, emails and social media graphics to help supporters join quickly and easily.
Top Tip
The more places supporters see your QR Code, the more opportunities they have to join your lottery.
Posters & Banners
When your lottery page is created, a set of posters and web banners matching your club colours will also be created.
The posters are available in A4 and A3 formats and can be downloaded and printed locally (see below to find your downloads). They are designed to help build awareness of your lottery around the club and encourage supporters to get involved.
We recommend displaying posters in:
- Clubhouses
- Noticeboards
- Changing rooms
- Toilets
- Bar areas
You'll also receive web banners that can be used on your club website, social media channels and WhatsApp groups.
IMPORTANT: A link to download your posters and banners can be found in your club admin panel on the Lottery page.
Top Tip: Display posters in areas where members, parents and supporters regularly spend time. Combined with QR Codes, these raise awareness and make signing up as easy as possible.
Mobile sign-up: The Do Your Bit App
The Do Your Bit App gives Lottery Champions, Lottery Ambassadors and supporters another easy way to access your lottery from their mobile device.
Supporters can use the app to sign up themselves and can also use it to introduce friends, family members and other supporters to the lottery.
The app is provided by lottery software provider Bee Ethical and is free to download. To use it, your club will need a unique sign-up code, which can be provided on request. That code can be shared with your supporters.
Top Tip: Make sure your Lottery Champion and Ambassadors have downloaded the app and have access to your club’s sign-up code before launch.
Walls/Buildings
Before launching your lottery, take time to build awareness across the club and let supporters know what's coming.
Start by making sure your posters are displayed around the club, your web banners are live and your lottery page is easy to find.
Next, begin communicating with your supporters. Explain what the lottery will help fund, why it matters to the club and how they can get involved when the lottery launches.
Message Your Members
Once your lottery page is live and you're happy with the sign-up process, it's time to start communicating with your members.
If your club uses a Pitchero Club website, a message will automatically be sent to club website members aged 18 and over, saving you a job.
If you don't use a Pitchero Club website, you'll need to send messages using your own club systems.
First of all, message club officials and volunteers. Explain that £6 from every ticket goes towards club fundraising.
Explain what the lottery will help fund (be specific) and invite them to support your launch by sharing information with teams, parents and supporters across the club.
Next, communicate with your wider supporter base, including:
- Club supporters
- Adult players
- Parents

Share Content
Use your website, social media channels and WhatsApp groups to build awareness before launch.
Make sure your content explains what the lottery will help fund, how supporters can get involved and where they can find your lottery page.
IMPORTANT: Always include information about the cause and how the grants will support your club
Checklist
Before moving on to the next stage, make sure:
- Your posters are displayed around the club
- Your web banners are live
- Your Lottery Champion and Ambassadors are ready
- Your supporter communications have been sent
Action: Complete the checklist above before moving on to "Sell Your Next 10 Tickets".
Your next goal is to sell 10 lottery tickets.
Work with your Lottery Champion and Ambassadors to identify the supporters most likely to get behind the lottery early. These may be committee members, volunteers, parents, players or long-standing supporters who already believe in the club and what you're trying to achieve.
Ask each Ambassador to create their own list of potential supporters and approach them personally. A one-to-one conversation, phone call, WhatsApp message or email is often far more effective than a general club announcement.
Focus on the impact the lottery will have on the club and the difference every ticket sold will make.
These first players will help create momentum, build confidence and provide a strong foundation for your wider launch.
Action: Work with your Lottery Champion and Ambassadors to identify and personally approach your next 10 supporters.
Now it's time to bring everything together.
A successful launch doesn't have to be a large event. It could be a match day, training session, tournament, social event, presentation evening or dedicated fundraising activity (ideally somewhere where good internet access is available!).
The key is to create a focused period where your Lottery Champion, Ambassadors and supporters are all helping to promote the lottery at the same time.
Make sure your Lottery Key Fobs, Engagement Prompts, QR Codes and Do Your Bit App are ready to use. Encourage your Ambassadors to speak to supporters, answer questions and help people sign up there and then.
Remember, successful lotteries grow through conversations. Every conversation creates an opportunity to share your club's fundraising goal and invite supporters to get involved.
