Club Website Integration
How to integrate The Fundraising Club Lottery into your club website.
Lottery Page Live!
When the affiliate agreement is returned, a team member will create your club lottery affiliate page. This may take up to 48.
Once completed, a link will be sent to your inbox.
If your club uses a Pitchero club website, the lottery page will be automatcially intergrated into your club website. A 'Lottery' link will appear in your main navigation.
If your club does not have a Pitchero Club website, you should add links to your club website navigation using the URL provided in the email. Make sure the link is clearly visible on your homepage and part of the main site navigation.

First Ticket
To ensure your club understands the ticket-buying process, we recommend that YOU (the club official responsible for the lottery) purchase the first ticket as soon as the page goes live!
You will receive an email confirmation with your unique ticket number and a code for your Gourment Society membership.
By completing the process, you can tell other club members how quick and straightforward the process is. (Plus - you could WIN £25,000!)
10 Tickets
Your first goal should be to reach 10 tickets. Selling 10 tickets will earn your club £60 per month in Grant payments, or £720 over 12 months!
Plus - you will then access printed posters and free key fobs!
Draft a list of the 10 club members most likely to purchase a ticket. Target them first with personal one-to-one messages via email or WhatsApp. Focus on the club cuase and how much each ticket will contribute to the club.
These first adopters should be well-known club members who can promote the lottery within different club groups, acting as ambassadors to encourage more members to take part.
Action:
Create your list of 10 club members, send a personal message to each member and include a link to the club lottery page.
50 Tickets
Reach a goal of 50 tickets, and your fundraising is up and running! At 50 tickets, you generate £300 per month for the club, or £3,600 per year.
To reach this stage, you will need to follow the steps listed below.
Good communication is critical. The most effective marketing comes from a passionate club volunteer (Bob) championing an essential club cause (new changing rooms!)
Follow our step-by-step guide and your lottery will be up and running in just a few weeks!
Message Members
Once the page is live and you are happy with the process, message your club members and let them know about the new fundraising initiative.
Send message via email and WhatsApp.
If your club uses a Pitchero Club website, a message will be sent from your Pitchero club account to members of the club website who are over 18. This message will be sent automatically, saving you a job.
If you are not using a Pitchero club website, you will need to send the message using your own club systems.
First, message all club officials and volunteers. Explain how £6 from every ticket goes towards club fundraising.
Invite them to help promote the lottery. Please share links to this marketing toolkit and encourage them to promote the lottery to teams or groups within the club.
Second, send a message to club members. Ensure messages are only sent to members over 18 years of age. Consider writing a different message to different groups of members.
- Club supporters
- Adult players
- Parents
Post Content
Post a news item on the club website and social media channels, directing supporters to the lottery page. Make sure you include an image and links to the lottery page.
Always include information about the cause and how the grants will support your club.

Posters & Banners
When your lottery page is created, a set of posters and banners matching your club colours will also be created.
The posters are A4 and A3 in colour. They can be downloaded and printed at home. Where should posters be hung?
- Around the clubhouse
- Club noticeboard
- Changing rooms
- Toilets
- Bar area
The web banners are designed for your club website, social media and WhatsApp.
A link to download your banners and posters is listed in your club admin panel. Go to the Lottery page and see the link.
The web banners are designed for your club website, social media and WhatsApp.
Important:
If your club sells over 10 tickets, The Fundraising Club will send printed posters to your home address plus 5 key fobs.
If your club sells more than 50 tickets, the Fundraising Club will work with your club to create a range of custom posters and banners.
